Journey by Mediavine a Game Changer For New Bloggers

While having coffee and scrolling through my emails, I noticed an email from Eric, the co-founder of Mediavine. I knew it had to be some big announcement! And it was. After reading all the details,  I could not wait to share them with you!

The email was about a new program called Journey by Mediavine and it seems that it could be a game changer for small blogs! Mediavine explains it as “A New Mediavine Ad Management Solution for Growing Sites.”

What The Heck is Mediavine?

In case you are new to blogging and have never heard of Mediavine, Mediavine is an online advertising management company that handles placing ads on your blog.  They handle everything for you, all you do is sit back and watch the money come in!

A few years back, I ran a blog called Christina Faye Repurposed, a furniture-flipping blog.  After just six months, I was able to apply for Mediavine.  My tiny blog brought in around $1,500.00 per month, just from ad revenue.

One of the key benefits of working with Mediavine is their commitment to transparency and fairness. They offer competitive rates and revenue shares and provide detailed reporting and analytics to help their clients optimize their ad revenue.  It was a win-win for me and my blog.

Journey by Mediavine

Journey by Mediavine is a new ad offering whose focus seems to be directed toward smaller blogs and websites.  The Grow software makes the new program work by authenticating traffic and allowing Mediavine to evaluate when a blog may be eligible for ad placement.  In other words, there is nothing you have to do on your end.  It is totally automated, yay!

With Journey, bloggers can begin their monetizing “journey” and benefit from Mediavine’s high-quality ads and excellent customer service with around 10,000-page sessions instead of the 50,000-page session requirement.

What is a page session Christina, I am new to blogging explain, please.  A page session refers to the average number of pages on a website that users access per session.   You can access this in your Google Analytics account.   You can see since my new website is only three months old, I have had 43 sessions.

Don’t Get Discouraged

I also wanted to share something with you that’s been heavy on my heart.

If you are a new blogger, don’t get discouraged.  A client emailed me a few days ago ready to throw in the towel!  I felt her pain because I was there once!

Of course, I will not sugarcoat it and tell you that blogging is easy.  It’s not, especially if your goal is to monetize and earn money from your blog.  You have to be committed to put in the work.

And remember, it will not happen overnight.  It takes time as well as patience.  Hang in there!

Questions?  Reach out!  I am here for you!

Christina
